My dear Sir

I am very much obliged to you for your kindness - I think the proofs of the value of the application are quite perfect but fear that the boon will not be accepted - The girls here all say the appearance of the material is injured & the manner in which the folds form is bad - I see in their eyes that they do not; the safety compensation for the depreciation[.]

I have the two numbers of the P Journal so send them back to you[.]

I hope you are not giving away too many of the Birds nest[.] They are very interesting[.]
