[Royal Institution embossed letterhead] | 21 April 1863.

My dear Sir

Your F.E.1 and our annual meeting coincide in date occurring on Friday 1 May. Our Meeting is from 2 o’clk until 3 o’clk. You can have the Lecture room for preparation both before and after these hours and also if you please on the previous Thursday after 4 o’clk. We shall want the table on the Friday during the Meeting but I presume most of your illustrations will be up on the screen & so not interfere with the meeting[.] If you will let us know your time Anderson & the Porters will be ready[.]

Ever Truly Yours | M. Faraday
