I am directed to transmit you the accompanying copy of a Letter¹ from Private James Chad. 2nd Battalion 12th Foot, in relation to an Electric Lamp which he brings to the Notice of the Board, and to state that the Elder Brethren will be glad to receive any observations you may have to make thereon.
