The Green | Hampton Court | 8 Octr. 1863
My dear friend
Hearing yesterday you were in town - I now write only to say that I purpose calling on Saturday1 to learn your whereabouts & to see whether I can have a talk with you on general matters either then or on the Monday Morning or some other time as may suit you[.]
Mr. Vincent has lost his wife - her burial will take place next Saturday & I have assured him he may be absent from the R.I on that day. Otherwise he will be at the house as usual on other days if you want him[.]
My letter sounds dry, but I am giddy & my head confused by trying to remember the small things of yesterday. My warmest wishes are with you & yours[.]
Ever Yours affectionately | M. Faraday
