Dear Sir,

Having to visit the Bideford Light Houses in the course of a few days I purpose taking advantage of the opportunity for crossing to Lundy Island and taking the particulars necessary to render our drawings of the Light Establishment thereat complete. On my return I will call with the drawings and furnish any explanations you may require[.]
