Yarmouth | 30 Aug 1864.

My dear friend

I received your welcome & cheering letter this morning. I am very tired & you will excuse all but the acknowledgment. Yarmouth has not done much with me yet. We shall leave it next Friday Morning1 for dear Old Buckenham & that place on the Tuesday2 morning for home i.e. if our intentions are justified. Thank you much for all the good news. I return you Mr. Reids3 letter - it will be a cheerer to you & I hope a settler[.] Our love to dearest Ellen & her sisters & companions Mary & Louisa.

Good bye Dear friend | Ever Affectionately Yours | M. Faraday
