William Pigott to Faraday   6 October 1864

T House | Thursday Oct 6

My dear Faraday

We are always glad to have a chat with you at this House but beyond this motive I have to inform you that the EB are constituting a comparison of value between the light of a small holophotal lens and a reflector for a light at Falmouth[.] They will be burning on Tuesday next1 & we shall be glad to see you if not inconvenient to you to come - but do not make any effort[.]

Yours faithfully | William Pigott

That is 11 October 1864.
