My dear Sir

In accordance with your permission1 I decide without a moments doubt that you are to be a Vice President of the Albert Hall - and I feel no doubt also that my decision will be approved[.] I shall send a copy of your letter to General Grey2.

I think I can say that you will not be asked for work or money or anything but the honour of your name[.]
