Dear Sir,

Your favour1 has been duly forwarded to me at this place, & in reply I beg to say that I will take the earliest opportunity of calling on you relative to the Lead investigation2 -

If it would not inconvenience you I should like to remain here until Thursday next3, but if this delay would be objectionable, I will return at once - Kindly drop me a line to this address & I will hold myself entirely at your service -
