Faraday to Benjamin Vincent   21 July 1865

Sewers farm | Abinger | Dorking | Friday 21, July 1865

My dear friend

I know you will excuse my hand writing which will be bad, irregular and present great proof of forgetfulness & yet that you will prefer it to the writing of another.- We are getting on very well with fine weather and fortunate circumstances. I am left alone for Miss Reid is out a little way whilst my wife is out having gone in a small vehicle with Jane to Leith hill. The weather is & has been very fine & beautiful - sun shining beautifully.

My wrist is becoming very tired and I am afraid I cannot go on much longer. Speak of me to those whom I ought to remember but whom I forget Anderson Mr Hughes &c your dear wife. I hope Margery or rather Jeannie will write soon & make up my deficiencies which I know are great[.]

My head is becoming rather woolly and my hand forms words without meaning. I must stir up the fire and wait for better things - but I am better in spirits than I was this morning. I think both the air & the water is very good here - the water wonderfully so.

Our dear travellers have just come home - all well | M. Faraday

Benj. Vincent Esqre | &c &c &c

Our kind remembrance to Miss A Savage.
