Faraday to John Tyndall   28 August 1865

The Green, | Hampton Court, | Monday, 28 August / 65.

Welcome to London, my dear Tyndall. I was in the house on Saturday1 when you were there, but did not know until afterwards. Glad to hear you are well.

I write very inconsistently, and know not from line to line what I have said. I received your letter2 the same day (Saturday). You must have had a most grievous time of it. Many thanks from all of us to you for it. If you meet with Wilson3, who has left me his name but not his address, say to him as you think I would say, or send me his address.

Yours, | M. Faraday

Dr. Tyndall

That is 26 August 1865.
