John Tyndall to Jane Barnard   5 July 1866

Royal Institution | 5th, July, 1866

My dear Miss Barnard

If I had a hope of seeing him I would go out to say good bye to your uncle before leaving for the Alps. I am just on the point of starting. Will you give the dear man my best love. Life to me has been somewhat clouded by his illness[.]

Yours ever | John Tyndall
