Sarah Faraday to John Tyndall   4 September 1866

The Green, | Hampton Court, | 4th Sept.

Dear Dr. Tyndall,

My goodman is pleased at the thought of seeing you, and I write at once in hopes that you will be able to come next Thursday or Friday1, to take a meat tea with us. I have thought much of what you said about finding something for Mr. Faraday to do, which should employ his fingers; it is our great endeavour, for he is much happier when employed, but it is so difficult. Perhaps in your kindness you could suggest something, or take the initiative, so as to give the necessary interest, but it must require so little thought, or he gets quite confused and troubled. At any rate we will talk about it when we meet.

Believe me very sincerely yours, | S. Faraday

That is 6 or 7 September 1866.
