My dear Sir

Dr Joseph Bullar2 of Southampton whom this note will introduce to you is very desirous to have some conversation with you on points of Electromagnetism connected with the theory of Vital Motions between which and the Dynamical phenomena of the currents he considers himself to have traced acid connexions since as no one is so able to judge of as yourself. Dr Bullar is the son of my amiable and estimable host3 at Southampton Last year4 and is prepared to estimate very highly the advantage of your opinion of his views5[.]
