Henry Holland to Faraday   Undated

L Brook Street. April 10th.

My dear Sir,

Will you let me ask you to accept the volume, of which you read a few sentences some time ago, in reference to the very interesting topic we were discussing at the moment? I cannot expect you should feel such interest in a work chiefly professional in its subjects & purpose; but you may perchance find, through the table of contents, some few parts of it, connected with questions which I know you have deeply considered. At all events, oblige me by giving the volume a place on your book-shelves, as some slight token of my respect & friendship.

Ever my dear Sir, yours most | Faithfully H. Holland
