Your cheque of £5.5 for Laurents2 widow3 as well as some others for the same fund has not yet been presented for payment & is in my hands. I have yet to receive some promised subscriptions I shall then forward the whole to its destination - probably two or three weeks time.

Auguste Laurent (1807–1853, DBF). French chemist.
Anne-Françoise Laurent, née Schrobilgen. Married Laurent in 1838.
