From Mary Horner Lyell

11 Harley Street

6th Feby

Dear Mr Henslow,

I have been trying to look out a few things for you & have done so already but it occurs to us that the best way would be if you could scan your eyes over the Principles of Geology & the Manual, & ascertain which numbers you would like as there are many that could be of no use to you & these we can cast them out. When we have made up the parcel where shall we send it?

Pray remember us kindly to Mrs Henslow & believe me

sincerely yrs

Mary E Lyell
