To L. Sulivan 13 December 1847

Hitcham Hadleigh Suffolk

13 Decr 1847

My dear Sir,

I forgot, when I wrote, that another packet of duplicates was on its travels, & have not been returned - so I have at present only this smaller one for your two daughters' examination. They are quite welcome to the whole of it - if the specimens would be of use to them - or if there are any they care not to receive they may be returned to me for the chance of their being useful somewhere else. The packet may in this case be addressed

Rev J. S. Henslow

care of Miss Henslows

44 Queen Square

Bloomsbury

My two aunts (very old ladies) are lodging there & will take care of it for me. I am obliged to hurry back to the opening of the Ipswich Mus. on Wednesday - where I hope to find Bp. of Norwich, Sedgwick, Buckland, & some more naturalists taking part in the proceedings. Many thanks for the notice of Grimwood - the last soldiering commission sent to you. With kind regards to the Mrs Sulivan

believe me

Ever truly Yrs

J. S. Henslow
