To L. Sulivan 26 June 1860

Kew

26 June 1860

My dear Mr Sulivan,

When at home yesterday, I consulted my herbarium for the specific names of a few Swiss plants submitted to me by Miss Sulivan, & which, at the moment, I did not feel sure of. I believe I am certain of 3 of them viz.

  • Epilobium Dodoniei
  • Arenaria biflora (of which I had a small fragment)
  • Delphinium consolida -

but I could not feel certain of the Gypsophila & I think one other, from memory. I enclose the Programmes of my 1t & 2d Lecture at the Palace. I left the 3d & 4th with Miss C.S. & I was rejoiced to find you looking so well. My kind regards to your family

Yrs very truly

J. S. Henslow

P.S. I am passing through with Miss H. to Oxford.
