To John Phillips 1 November 1833

Cambridge

1 Nov 1833

My dear Sir

I think you had better be made acquainted with a few corrections to our List of Members as I presume you will soon be printing - *W. Strutt should be *W. Shutt - & the following wish their names to be removed - Dr Johnstone of Berwick on Tweed - Mr Salmond of York - Huntly of Kimbolton, & Dickes of Jesus.

I hear on every side of great satisfaction given by the List of Signatures & we have sold a large No of them at Cambridge. I fully expect that we shall be able to get rid of the whole impression, but we can hardly do so before the next meeting as we can not tell how many will be wanted by the Members to whom we have sent orders & of course they must be helped first before we allow others to purchase. We are all re-assembled here, and if you want to make enquiries of any kind I can now do it for you.

Believe me

very sincerely

Yrs truly

J. S. Henslow
