To J. C. Dale 30 July 1832

12 Gloucester Row, Weymouth

30 July 1832

My dear Dale,

If you arrive in sufft. time we shall be happy to have you & Mr Morris at dinner today at 5 1/2 o'clock - otherwise you will perhaps favor us by coming up to tea & arranging plans for tomorrow. I have been twice to Portland, but shall be very happy to make a 3d trip under your auspices. I am afraid I cannot accompany you to G. Wotton [sic] as I am here on duty & can not leave my pupils for any time.

Yrs very truly

J. S. Henslow

Perhaps our best plan is to take a boat across to Portland for the day - which we can manage for 8/-

[On envelope: "J. C. Dale esq. Crown Inn Weymouth Mr D. will be there tonight"]
