To William Hutton 9 March 1840

Hitcham, Bildeston, Suffolk

9 March 1840

My dear Sir,

I am afraid that we have no means of sending to Woodbridge - but I will make enquiries. From Ipswich I can easily continue to get a farmer to bring a box in his wagon - as some go to market there from hence, & one is a sort of 1/2 coal merchant, & continually sends. If none were going I could send over my own horse & luggage cart - but Woodbridge wd. be too far. It will be better therefore to wait for an Ipswich vessel unless you hear from me again tomorrow. Many thanks for your kind intentions respecting my village lectures. I long to see the specimens you are sending named. Excuse a hurried letter as I am pressed for time.

Yrs ever truly

J. S. Henslow
