To George Knights 26 September 1854

Liverpool

26 Sep 1854

My dear Sir,

I left home for here so early the morning after the show that I had not time to write. I have just recd your letter & written to direct them to send the lithogc stones & zinc plate as soon as they can, I hope I have not inconvenienced the parties by the delay. Pray thank them very much. They were great additions. The party went off well. I had brought here the M.S. for Saturday's notices but have really been so thoroughly occupied that I have had no time to put it into a fitting shape for the Press. I return on Saturday & will write again

Excuse this scrawl.

Ever yrs truly
