To George Knights 28 October 1854

28 Oct

My dear Sir,

I have written to ask Knox what he gave per 100, as I forget, but I don't think it was less than what your Brother proposes. When I get his answer I will tell you, & your brother can then determine, & can write direct to the party applying, & circulate his samples by the Clergy list. If he begins by feeling his way among the Suffolk Clergy he will judge how far he is likely to succeed. I will, in the interim say nothing about his prices, as he may see cause to alter them on receiving Knox's account - perhaps to add a % to clear expenses. But of all this he will judge. I don't think his prices at all unreasonable & will order 100 by way of a beginning - & to set the Type.

Yrs very truly

J. S. Henslow
