To George Knights 19 October 1854

H. H. S.

19 Oct 1854

My dear Sir,

I merely write by way of precaution & you need not trouble yourself to reply if all is right. I sent you M. S. for a notice last Saturday from C. If you have received it, & have thought it best to postpone it till next Saturday without forwarding a proof all is well. I thought there wd be no time for a proof last Saturday & therefore suggested not sending one. If you have not received the M. S. let me know. I have been trying my hand at setting up antiques & having satisfied myself I have just ordered a few blocks for the Museum by way of example, & if you can find we can make them cheaper here or you can't get them made for nothing Baker (our carpenter) can make some more. I have put up a few things to bring with me the first opportunity.

Yrs very truly

J. S. Henslow
