To George Knights 14 December 1854

Hitcham H. S.

14 Decr 1854

My dear Sir,

I wrote to Bowerbank to add the Ipswich Mus. to the list of subscriptions & asked if he could procure any of the back volumes. He says we can get all - & if we can afford it, I think it would be very advisable to secure the offer he makes in the enclosed letter. To avoid unnecessary fatigue I propose coming over on Monday - but my daughter (who is at Bury) will not join me till Tuesday. She is anxious to attend the lectures, but I fear I encroach upon friends by this addition to my personal accommodation. When I get to Ipswich I shall find out if it is convenient for Rigaud to receive her, & if not we can take up our quarters at the G. L. where we were very well accommodated before. I understood Rigaud that he expects me.

Very truly yrs
