My dear Sir,
I send the programme terms which may be prepared exactly like the former. The snow today prevents my forwarding by Webb the large Palm leaves, Bamboo, & box of specimens. I hope to do so on Saturday - but have still Tuesday left, if that day should fail. This is miserable whether [sic.] for a lecture on Botany! I hope to be with you on Monday by the train that gets in from Stowmarket at 3.10. & I take up my quarters at Rigaud's, though I fear the recent confinement of his Lady must rather put him to inconvenience. It is a little doubtful (on account of the weather) if my daughter will be able to come with me. My time has been so thoroughly occupied in preparing specimens (by request) for the Paris exhibition that I have literally done nothing towards typical arrangements, beyond a few items for the botany to accompany my lecture. More when we meet
Ever yrs truly
