Downing Coll, C.

My dear Sir,
The composition of the following Nos. may be altered as follows. I have corrected sundry little wants of [circle with dot in middle] over H, &c & believe the rest is alright
[In the following list, dots above each item in the original text are denoted in square brackets next to item]
I don't find that I have more of the list than down to No.310 - & suppose you have not furnished one - unless I have accidentally left it behind me. If you have to send the rest it would be as well to leave space enough for me to make any alteration without send this on another paper. You might write the list in single columns where you have made to, & leave the rest of the sheet blank.
Don't forward Carpenter's sheet. It was intended for the Museum & I promised if he drew it up he should have some duplicates (Crag or others) by way of exchange as the regulations of his museum do not allow of giving their property without something in return. We will discuss this when I get to Ipswich. I have written to Loudon about the crystal models, at Miller's recommendation to someone who gets them over from Germany. About 3£ will (I believe) cover the expense - but I have not yet got his answer. Many thanks for your very kind offer of assistance at the Hort. Soc. I trust you will come over & take a lesson! In the Museum. I have received a beautiful specimen of Palmetic acid from Messrs Prices new process, which I will place in the Museum after exhibition at Hitcham.
Very truly yrs
