To George Knights 30 October 1855

HBS

30 Oct 1855

My dear Knights,

I forward the proof of the Mus. Not. & hope to have another ready before Saturday. I can't come on Thursday - but I am thinking of coming over next week - & as Mr King has just written to offer me a bed; if it should so happen that one day is better than another (they are all the same to me) I might ask him to let me come for that night. He wants to show me his new Telescope. If you know him well enough you might fix with him what night (if any) would suit the Committee. But I shall just reply & say that as I wish to be in Ipswich next week, any day he may fix will suit me - but that possibly there may be a Committee I should be glad to attend some day, & if that day were agreeable to him I could arrange for it. Mr Horner has sent me the enclosed here. I tell him there must be some mistake but that I will ask you to make enquiries & if you can get me a sight of this wonderful jaw when I come next week. Many thanks for the Pheasants which we shall enjoy very much.

Believe me

Very truly yrs
