To George Knights 12 June 1856

The Close, Norwich

12 June 1856

Dear Knights,

I have picked up a good specimen of Chalk flint Paramudra, & am packing it up to send off to the Museum by the Railway. By setting it up on a block & placing a Neptune's Cup behind it, an interesting illustration can be combined something like the sketch on the next page. If you get it cleaned by the time I come to Ipswich we can determine the sizes for the blocks. It has been covered with whitewash. If water won't get it clean a little acid will.

Yrs very truly

J. S. Henslow
