My dear Knights
In a letter from Ld A. H. he says concerning the choice of 2 days he had sent to you "I suppose I shall hear in due time whether that day (Decr. 2) will suit". This looks as if you had not replied to his letter. If not pray do at once or we shall get again into the Sidney mess of last year. When I know all is so far settled I can ask Sidney for one of the days that will be vacant.
Very truly yrs

I will send off the Elephant's Head by Webb. It is on a stand for which Baker charges 2/6. I will try & recollect to bring the bill some day. I am glad to hear the nos. at the Museum increase. I don't think you keep up the custom (which I think did good) in mentioning in the papers fresh arrivals of specimens from time to time. I am to lecture on phosphate of Lime at Hadleigh on Friday & shall perhaps come over for a specimen or two.
