My dear Knights,
I will name Wednesdays if agreeable in Nov. Dec. Jan. Feb. March. let me know which Wednesdays you pick out so as to interlace best with the Mechs. Tuesdays & I shall know my cue & arrange accordingly. Mr D's 9d is higher than we ever paid for a steam trip. It used to be 6d, added to the Railway /9d or 1/-. I thought you meant that he had lowered the fares. I am afraid a generous public will be more inclined to the 2d than the 9d. I am not finding fault with the 9d, & if I can continue shall avail myself of it - but I fear the getting to Ipswich added to the 9d will be over weighty for an excursion party of any size. You don't mention times & seasons which is an important Element in organizing a trip. Just at present the Holidays have scattered a half dozen who would be most likely to be of the party.
Yrs very truly
