To George Knights 9 September 1857

9 Sep 1857

My dear Knights,

If you happen to think of any thing that is likely to interest us well & good - but at this season it is hardly worth while sending over a cumbrous Box. I shall have plenty to fill the Tent with - & as much as I can well get thro'. My annual report will be out next week. A letter today from Ld A. H. fixes on Thursday Decr 3. as the day for his lecture. I have asked him for his subject & written to ask Sidney to name his day either in Nov. Jy. Feb. M. & I will then fix my 2 days or rather any two will do for me, if the unprovided day is first named by the unprovided Lecturer. The Committee should hunt him up now that I have secured 4 out of the 5 lectures. I hope you have shaken all trace of Cholera.

Yrs very truly
