My dear Knights
Sidney fixes on Tuesday March 2d for his exchange Lecture with me - subject "Feeling & Hearing"; illustrated by illuminated Diagrams. Dr Rigaud offers to take one of my Lectures off my hands, if the Committee can fill up the 5th without his being considered to be that 5th. Only let me know on which one or two Tuesdays I am to lecture & I will prepare accordingly. I have arranged for Hadleigh Sudbury & Bury - & am writing in reply to the Cambridge Secry to ask on what day in Oct. I am required to lecture there. The Wombat will be a capital addition to our show. I have already made use of a portion of one of the strips of wood - for which accept my thanks - I shall find uses for them all. I am thinking of a trip to Manchester on Monday week. I hope you will be able to come over Wednesday & not be defeated as you were last time
Yrs truly
