To George Knights 3 October 1857

My dear Knights,

I have only just got back from Manchester & find 32 letters to answer. I have written to Reeve. I find I am to lecture at Cambr. on the 29th or 30th & examine on the 31st. Who opens the Ipswich lectures on the Thursday following this? If you have not arranged for any one & cannot get any one for that day I must come - otherwise I had rather take my fist later. On 2d thoughts I think perhaps it may suit me to come on the 5th Nov. quite as well as later - as I see I can't lect in Decr. & March, & I forget which is Sidney's month.

Would you be so good as to call at Chaplin's & settle the enclosed a/c for me?

Yrs very truly
