My dear Knights,
I send Reeve's letter - & you will see the extent of his hopes & wishes. Thanks for attending to my request in re Chaplain & in forwarding Mr Dyer's samples. Have you sent any antiquities for the Hadleigh meeting next Friday? If you do direct them to the care of Revd H. Knox the Rector. He wd like to have the sort of seal he presented for exhibition. Any thing Suffolk in preference. You might send my red Felixstowe vase & one or two other things. To pack them safely it is advisable to part off spaces in a packing box, & surround them well with paper. The 5th Novr will suit me I think well enough. Let the subject be "Aluminium, Alumina, & their applications in the Arts". I shall give a short rehearsal at Hadleigh on Friday, after the meeting of the Archaeologists.
Yrs very truly
J. S. Henslow
