To George Knights 17 January 1858

Hitcham Bildeston Suffolk

17 Jy 1958

My dear Knights,

If I trouble you to pay the enclosed accounts for me in Ipswich, it will release me somewhat when I come over as I hope to do soon, & allow me time for a few hours work at the Museum. I have several specimens ready & shall probably forward them by Webb during this week. I am going to Town on Tuesday 26 & back on Friday 29th, & have written to ask Rigaud if I can sleep at his house either on Monday 25 or Friday 29 on my way one way or the other. This (if he can receive me) will secure a few hours either on Tuesday or Saturday in Ipswich. My sister is in want of some glass of the sizes mentioned on the enclosed paper, & I was to get them in town - but I doubt if I can well continue this, & probably there would be no great difference in expense if they were procured at Ipswich. If you think not, perhaps you will add this commission to the many favours I am asking, otherwise you can return the mem. before I leave home. I could bring the glass with me as I return. Have you got the articles I looked out at the S. K. Museum? I am to go & have another pick & as I suppose Dr Playfair will by that time have returned from his Matrimonial Trip. I will also ask about the diagrams. If I find I can get Patterson's at the lower cost for the Museum I suppose I may purchase them & bring them back with me.

Yrs very truly
