The printing of the Transactions of the Botanical Society cannot proceed until we receive the fossil which was sent for your opinion. We wish to have a good lithograph taken from it. Perhaps you will be so good as forward it to [illeg.] with directions to transmit it immediately to Edin. Have you decided that it is a potamogeton?
