From Adam Sedgwick [1835-1860]

Norwich

Sunday Nov 9

My dear Henslow

I return [illeg.] Baker’s letter, as you wished me to do so, I sent it to a Lady at this place in order that she might set her young friends to work in procuring wild flowers &c; and am confident they will some of them do the needful

The gout was beginning to show his ugly face so I ran hither to get away from it: but this is, as ought to be, a buoy [illeg.] & I must return it in a day or two

My best love to all the ladies you have with you

Ever affec y yours | A Sedgwick
