From J Holmes   [April] 1841

Dear Sir1

Now that we are about to discontinue our Wednesday evening meetings after the next; and that we are desirous to conclude with something that will sum up the whole, I hope you will not refuse this my last request, for which I shall personally feel exceedingly obliged and I am convinced with which the public will be highly pleased. If you come forward on either side of the question proposed. We are endeavouring to have four speakers and you know how much gratified all will be if you come. Any book that you want that I have you shall get with pleasure.

Say: ‘Yes’ or ‘NO’, but don’t say ‘No’.

Yours sincerely | J. Holmes.
