Dear Sir,

I am much obliged for your offer of Bunsens Memoir.1 I have no doubt we have it in the library here, but I am too much occupied to avail myself at present of the information your kindness has supplied me with.

I remain | [dear] Sir | your obt st2 | Andw Ramsay3

your offer of Bunsens Memoir: this could be an offprint from Pogg. Annalen which Bunsen had asked Tyndall (in letter 0520) to forward on his behalf (cited letter 0526, n. 2). If so, Tyndall was slow to act.

obt st: obedient servant.
