Lord Dunraven: Edwin Wyndham-Quin, 3rd earl of Dunraven and Mount Earl (1812–71). Sabine wrote to Dunraven, on Tyndall’s behalf, regarding a position at the Queen’s College of Galway. Tyndall, who learned of the vacancy through Francis, had been advised by Wynne to approach Sabine (Journal, 28 June 1852, JT/2/13b/572-3). For Dunraven’s reply see letter 0644.
