Queenwood College | Feb. 22nd. 1854.
My dear Dr. Tyndall,
I hope you are quite well. Bellamy1 told me to ask if you will come down to see his and George William’s2 Panorama of Italy,3 it is on the 4th of March. There are five classes just now and above eighty boys, but they have not all returned yet. I have enjoyed myself very much since I returned to Queenwood. With kind to you

Bellamy: H. Bellamy, a pupil at Queenwood College.
George William’s: George William Edmondson (see letter 0797, n. 5).
Panorama of Italy: H. Bellamy and G. W. Edmondson had painted a panorama, a picture composed of a series of images depicting a passing scene (OED). Grieve misquoted the date, as the date of the panorama was noted in The Queenwood Observer as 2 March (‘Miscellaneous’, The Queenwood Observer, 2:2 [31 March 1854], pp. 9–16, on p. 10).
T. W. Grieve: in the postscript LT notes: ‘all beautifully written with a flourish at the end –’
