To Thomas Archer Hirst   Monday April 3rd. 1854.

Monday April 3rd. 1854.

My dear Tom

I like any arrangement which will preserve me from putting them to any trouble in the house. I hope you will insist on my sleeping at the Lodge.1 Can I not sleep in the same little room as before. There is not the slightest fear of my taking cold.

Yours affectionately | John.
