From Juliet Pollock   Jan. 23rd

59 Montague Square | Jan. 23rd

My dear Mr Tyndall,

I hope you may be able to come to us on Tuesday evening1 the 30th between 9 and 10 o’clock. The Barlows2 and I hope some other of your friends will be here.

The weather3 has spited me with regard to your lectures. I was actually driven back by rain when I had made some part of my way towards you on the last occasion and to day I don’t feel strong enough to face the snow – It is a real disappointment to me.

Yours very truly | Juliet Pollock
