Monday 9th. June 18561
Dear Dr. Tyndall,
I am to read a Paper at the Royal Society2 on Thursday and have sent there a large amount of Electrical apparatus – which I am very desirous to show you quietly as between ourselves. Faraday is coming to me at 3 this afternoon and I should be happy to see you at the same time at the Royal Society’s apt.3 If however this does not suit your engagements we will arrange for some other day. I have been more than once about to write to you since we last met4 but have not had sufficient leisure for the purpose of writing all I had to say.
believe me to be most truly yours | W. Snow Harris
