My dear Sir
I regret to say that I am at present lecturing upon a subject which lies rather remote from electricity—namely on sound—but I think what you require1 is capable of easy arrangement. Could we not spend a few hours together over the phenomena of induction. I would propose fixing a day early next month when I might have the suitable apparatus gathered together here and we might gradually climb from the elementary phenomena to the more complicated. If you think the delay till next month too long then I might arrange some day previously—I merely mention next month because I shall then have a few days leisure.
Believe me | dear Sir | very sincerely yours | John Tyndall
