From Walter Pollock   November 3rd 18571

59 Montague Square | November 3rd 1857

My dear Mr Tyndall,

You must know that next year if we go to Tunbridge Wells2 or any other place where there is a riding master I shall most likely have some more riding lessons, and I hope Fred3 will have some too, and that we shall go to Tunbridge Wells and that I shall ride Seline and Fred Prince.4 I was very much amused by your story,5 though I don’t believe it. If you think any of it true pray tell me so in your next letter. Fred writes this for me, and sends his regards to you. Pray write to me as soon as you can.

Yours affectionately | W.H.P. | (which I think very well written— | F.P. AMANUENSIS.6)

Please come and see us some of these days | Yours for ever, | F.P.
