From Charles P. Hooker   September 12th. 1863.1

Leigh House | September 12th. 1863.

My dear Dr. Tyndall,

I had a letter from Papa2 the other day and he told me your direction. I like school very much indeed. How do you get on with your lectures? We have got a field which we often go to play in when it is fine. There are a great many caterpillars. I have begun to learn Latin. When are you going to Switzerland?

I send my love to you | From your affectionate little friend | Charles P. Hooker
