From C. K. Akin   Monday1

Cavendish Club | Regent Street | Monday

Dr. Akin presents his compliments to Professor Tyndall, and having seen in the last number of the Reader2 an account of his late communications to the Royal Society and at the Royal Institution, in which he observes reference has been made to his own attempts on the subject of the converse phenomenon of Fluorescence, he begs leave to enclose to him the proof sheets of his introductory paper on the subject,3 now printing in the Reports of the British Association, and of which hitherto extracts only have been published

Dr. Akin, being now in town for a short time, would gladly avail himself of this opportunity to call on Prof. Tyndall, and to have the pleasure of making his acquaintance, if it was convenient for him to see him.
